A Board member of Accra Hearts of Oak, Dr Nyaho Nyaho-Tamakloe has thrown his support behind under-fire head coach Samuel Boadu.

Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe believes coach Boadu should not be relieved of his duty yet despite his poor showing in both the local league and the just-ended CAF competition.

Dr Tamakloe advised Samuel Boadu to remain focused and continue with his hard work and not hesitate to seek advice when necessary.

“He should continue with the hard work he has been doing and should listen also, at times, to both the management and the Board because many, a time, there are things he might not be in the position to save himself [about]. Advice from one or two people, even from the supporters, do help a lot. I am saying this from experience”, Dr Nyaho-Tamakloe told Class91.3FM.

Hearts of Oak have failed to be dominant in the league like they were last season.

The rainbow club, after having a horrible start to the season, are placed at the button of the Ghana Premier League with only 3 points after game week 7 with 3 outstanding games to be played after their failed CAF Confederation Cup assignment, which interrupted their games in the Ghana Premier League.

Hearts are still on a search for a first premier league win and a drop in points for the Accra-based club in their upcoming outstanding games will only worsen the situation at hand, as the margin between them and the league leaders widens.

Samuel Boadu’s men will be in an away action tomorrow in the Ghana Premier League against Elmina Sharks in their quest to find the first win since the start of the season.

A win for the Phobians might be the turning point for them and maybe an end to their poor form.
