I want my Pastors to become greater than me – Bishop Tackie-Yarboi

The Presiding Bishop of Victory Bible Church International (VBCI), Bishop N. A. Tackie-Yarboi, has said that seeing his pastors become even greater than him is one of his greatest wishes.
“I want my pastors to do more than I have achieved in the past forty years, and I want the next generation to use their gifts to accomplish even more than the founding fathers have done,” he said.
He further explained, “I know the gifts that God has given me, and therefore, I do not envy anyone. I wish for the next generation in the church to use their gifts to achieve more than I have.”
Bishop Tackie-Yarboi was preaching in New York during a Provincial Convention on the theme Discovering Your Gifts, where he revealed that no one is born without a gift, as God has endowed everyone with some potential. “It is just a matter of discovering your gift and talent since it is already inside of you,” he added.
He quoted Daniel 5:10–13 and explained that the gifts of Daniel created opportunities for him. Therefore, everyone must discover their gifts to make a difference in life.
He admonished Christians not to focus only on Heaven, but also to use their gifts and talents here on Earth to achieve breakthroughs in life, since a person’s gift opens greater doors.
He concluded by emphasizing that both spiritual and physical gifts are important to discover and use in order to accomplish more in life.
