I’ll make Anyaa-Sowutuom business-friendly – Adomako Kissi

The New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) parliamentary candidate for the Anyaa-Sowutuom Constituency, Dr Dickson Adomako Kissi, has promised to make sure the constituency is conducive for businesses if he is elected as a lawmaker in the 7 December general elections.

Dr Kissi said by making the environment “business-friendly”, companies and business entities will want to work and establish businesses in the constituency, adding that it will expose the constituents to job opportunities, especially in the private sector.

Speaking on the maiden edition of CTV’s ‘The Rally’ show on Tuesday, 8 September 2020, Dr Kissi said: “We will make Anyaa-Sowutuom constituency very business-friendly”.

“What we mean by business-friendly is that it will be a place where businesses and companies will want to work with us so that when we seek employment, we will not only look at the public sector.

“The private sector can also come and set up.”

On education, Dr Kissi indicated that the constituency has facilities from basic schools to the university level, adding that when he is given the mandate as an MP, “the facilities will be expanded to provide education to more people from the basic level to the tertiary level.”

He also noted that during his term, he will ensure that, in addition to tertiary education, skills training and career development are encouraged.

Dr Kissi noted that it is important for the youth to be equipped for employment.

According to the MP aspirant, lack of necessary skills training and career development accounts for the rejection that most job seekers face.

‘The Rally’ is a campaign show designed to create a platform for parliamentary and presidential candidates of the various political parties to reach out to their target electorate with their vision and plans ahead of the December 7 polls.

The show is aired on CTV, a unit of the Class Media Group (CMG).
