NPP Primary: Akufo-Addo’s driver elected La Dadekotopon Parliamentary Candidate

Joseph Addo, driver of President Akufo-Addo has been elected as the New Patriotic Party (NPP) parliamentary candidate for La Dadekotopon.

He won the contest with 664 votes while his main contender Solomon Kotey Niikio secured 555.

The election was held in the constituency on Saturday, April 27, 2024 after the elected parliamentary candidate, Dr. Gerald Joseph Tetteh, resigned for personal reasons.

Soon after the resignation, Joseph Addo, who has been driving President Akufo-Addo for over 20 years, indicated his readiness to contest in the primary.

Being a strong party man, he recently donated an office complex on the Ako Adjei Road to the party.
